Corporate Commitment
Sabre88 believes that in order to be a member of a sustainable community both locally and globally it is important to participate in and contribute to ongoing activities within that community. Our focus and mission is to support nonprofit organizations and programs that improve our society by addressing the needs of our youth, women and families.
On a local level Sabre88 employees are committed to volunteerism and giving of their time to various organizations either by board membership or program participation. We strive to not only contribute financial resources but skills and expertise where appropriate.
Examples of organizations Sabre88 supports include: The Peter Westbrook Foundation, (www.peterwestbrook.org); The Newark YMCA, (www.newarkymca.org); the Washington Area Women’s Foundation, (www.thewomensfoundation.org) and other worthwhile organizations and causes.
On a more global scale Sabre88 attempts to utilize small measures which will contribute to less energy use which will benefit a global society. For example Sabre88 uses a black background for its website which uses the least amount of energy possible.
