Value & Leadership
This trip takes students out of their comfort zones and into an experience that makes them more open-minded and confident. It has given them an unforgettable experience with an insight into most successful leaders.

Albert Dorman Honors College
In 1985, NJIT established an Honors Program to encourage and challenge its brightest and most motivated students. Dr. Richard Sher, Professor of History and Associate Dean of the College of Science and Liberal Arts, was selected as the first director. The approach taken was to stimulate students intellectually with a thorough and well balanced education. Special activities, rigorous courses, lectures and a colloquium series made up the program.

Testimonials

“It had been a very full and worthwhile day. As a group we were still smiling happily, because of the enjoyable and worthwhile experience of our study tour. Big thanks to Sabre88 for taking care of all the arrangements.”

“It was really interesting to learn how we could get involved in government as they did. The most important part about the meeting was the diversity. They all had completely different backgrounds. I felt privileged to sit next to Frank Altoz for the dinner which was fun. We discussed mechanical engineering for most of the night and he was insightful on classes in the department.”

“I was fascinated by the numerous amount of departments, agencies and committees that there are in the US government. I knew that numerous departments existed but this study tour made the significance click in my mind. ”

“In our thirteenth year, we couldn’t be happier at Sabre88 to continue this relationship with NJIT and their brilliant students.”
