Sabre88 performed periodic inventory of office supplies and recommended purchases, research and coordinate travel plans and lodging, and compose various types of correspondence accurately. Sabre88 collected, sorted, and distributed correspondence, prepared outgoing mail, and performed data entry for office records. Additional responsibilities included internet searches, phone coverage for other offices, and more. Sabre88 reviewed and distributed incoming mail and faxes, prepared and assembled documents in accordance with court rules, and maintained the filing of court pleadings. Sabre88 successfully provided administrative support services to the Department of Navy (DON) Human Resources Benefits Contact Center (HRBCC), serving over 207,000 customers with life and health benefit-related issues. As a clearinghouse for benefits-related forms and information, Sabre88 distributed retirement packages, beneficiary forms, and other materials as requested by government employees or staff. They answered phone calls, scanned and verified benefit documents, prepared correspondence, maintained office equipment, coordinated meetings and audiovisual displays, processed incoming mail, purchased office supplies, and implemented technical or procedural changes. With a team of 18 personnel, including subcontractors, Sabre88 efficiently managed the tasks. Their successful execution aligned with the LTASC III statement of work, thanks to their experienced Human Resources team, well-defined hiring processes, robust training program, and supportive work environment. Sabre88’s management plan and organizational structure contributed to their success, ensuring clear division of work, responsibility delegation, and quality control. Sabre88 played a crucial role in ensuring proper logistical support for the warfighter’s mission by participating in the Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) process. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) acquires new aircraft, targets, ranges, missiles, avionics systems, engines, armaments, and mine sweeping systems that require Support Equipment (SE) for operational readiness. Sabre88’s Subject Matter Experts recommend SE by submitting SERDs to the Navy for review and approval. Upon Navy approval, contracting actions are initiated to acquire the recommended SE End Items and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS). The approved data is processed through the Support Equipment Management System (SEMS) in an AUTOMATED SERD format. Sabre88’s responsibilities include providing logistical provisioning, recommending and processing Support Equipment Changes (SECs), staying informed about Design Change Notices (DCNs), processing a significant number of SERDs annually, consulting with stakeholders on Aircraft Weapons System Maintenance, interpreting engineering drawings and equipment manuals, coordinating with the Logistic Element Manager (LEM), maintaining the Acquisition Planning and Execution (APEX) database, generating detailed reports on completed SERD-related Logistic Support Projects, and ensuring the protection of information integrity and safety.
